I find that often when I think I'm out of ideas, I'm actually just not giving the ideas I DO have enough credit! I get caught up in "what do people want to read," instead of "what do I want to write?" My blog posts started to come much easier and (I hope) began to offer so much more when I quit trying to write for some particular audience and just started writing. I look at my blog (it's a personal essay blog, so I'm really not limited by topic - or by any need to "monetize") as the writing that Charles Bukowski once said you had to do every darn day if you wanted to be a writer. So my blog is sort of warm-up exercises for that book that I may never write, or for the autobiography I may never publish!

I have done a recent install of PP too. Noticed that yours includes the time tracker and the marine theme.

Can you tell me where you found those, and include a short description of how you applied the patches?

I have often looked for ways, and struggled with, finding the right balance with new partnerships I build in networking. Often I am frustrated by knowing how to maximize these relationships. Thanks for your article!

I totally agree. some of their documentation needs beefing up. The forum however, has been helpful. I think because they are in the early stages of development (they just reciently launched verson 1.1.1..) they have these issues. but I will be curious on how magento provides support over time

The problem I have with Magento is that they put the highest priority on coding and the lowest on documentation. If 5000 people are wasting 100 hours because of lousy, outdated docs, well, do the math. They could invest 100 hours of their time and save us all many hours of frustration. I can't believe how inaccurate some of the docs are, and they can really screw a person up. I fixed some of the Wiki pages, but I don't know enough to make them more usable. To everyone: Please edit the Wiki if you can add value!
