Tonight, I was playing around with IGoogle. I love this fun little feature! If you are wondered what it’s about, IGoogle is a method to create your personal at-a-glance page of information. With a list of gadges to add, you could spend quite some time configuring and re-configuring your home page. With only a click, I now can quickly scan relevant business articles, check my mail, verify my calendar, and still feed my personal interests.
Currently, my gagets include:
- Gmail
- Weather
- Dictionary.com: also includes Thesaurus.com and Reference.com
- Driving Directions
- Google Reader
- Freelance Folder
- Marketing News
- eMarketing articles
- Google calendar
- Events from meetup.com
- NPR Topics
- BBC News
Since I am a “how to” junky:
- How to Videos form howtocast.com
- Tech-Recipes.com
- How to of the day
- The How-To Geek
- Doityourself.com
- Daily Stuff from howstuffworks.com
Just for fun!
- Virtual Panda Pet (when I need mindless entertainment for 5 minutes)
- Buddhist thoughts of the day (for my spiritual side)
So what’s on your IGoogle?
